Patient Resources

Thompson Cancer Survival Center provides many patient and family resources to support and enhance the Center’s treatment programs. Our patient and family services program provides help for patients and families who need assistance with financial matters, transportation, lodging, meals, and other needs. Licensed clinical social workers are available for counseling and assistance, and a full-time dietitian is also on staff.

Patients and visitors can learn more about different types of cancers, treatment, and other information related to coping strategies and patient/family support at the George Bruce Nichols Patient Resource Center at Thompson’s downtown campus. The center has books, DVDs, CDs and Internet access to the most recent cancer-related information.
