Prostate Cancer

Prostate cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer among American men. With slightly over 200,000 new cases each year, it accounts for one-third of all new cancer developed by men. The disease mainly effects older men, and develops in the prostate gland which produces seminal fluid. Prostate cancer is a slow-developing disease, and is usually not life-threatening. Prostate cancer can cause difficulty in urination and sexual function.
